SecretGames
Gameplay
Section titled “Gameplay”SecretGames consists of several hidden modes on Timolia that are tucked away within the lobby. These modes are Chainreact, 5 Wins, and Overturn.
How it works // Chainreact
Section titled “How it works // Chainreact”Chainreact is about taking over the playing field by creating chain reactions and filling honeycomb cells.
- Select an arena using the compass in the Chainreact lobby.
- Choose a color at the signs.
- The game starts once at least two players are present.
- Players take turns.
- Clicking on a redstone lamp places a block of your color into the cell.
- You can only fill empty cells or cells that already belong to you.
- Once all lamps in a cell are active, the cell “explodes” and spreads your color to all adjacent fields.
- If an adjacent cell is empty or belongs to an opponent, it is taken over by you.
- If an adjacent cell already belongs to you and is only missing one lamp to be fully active, it will also be filled and explode.
- Chainreact!
- The game ends when a player is the first to capture 25 cells or takes over all opponent fields.
You can also start a tutorial on Arena 1.
How it works // 5-Wins
Section titled “How it works // 5-Wins”In 5-Wins, the goal is to be the first to get five blocks in a row through precise placement.
- Select an arena using the compass in the Chainreact lobby.
- Choose a color at the signs.
- The game starts with two players.
- Players take turns.
- Clicking with your color on an empty spot on the glass floor places a block.
- The game ends as soon as one of the two players has built a row consisting of 5 blocks.
- This row can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal.
- Your row may cross the opponent’s row, but it must not be interrupted by the opponent’s blocks.
How it works // Overturn
Section titled “How it works // Overturn”Overturn is about capturing your opponent’s blocks through tactical placement.
- Select an arena using the compass in the Chainreact lobby.
- Choose a color at the signs.
- The game starts with two players.
- Players take turns.
- The first four blocks are placed in the center of the arena.
- After the first four moves, every subsequent move must capture at least one opponent block.
- Capturing works by enclosing opponent blocks with your own (vertically, horizontally, or diagonally).
- All possible moves for the player are marked with white glass.
- The player who has colored the most blocks at the end wins.
