Mineception
Game Concept
Section titled “Game Concept”The uniqueness of Mineception is characterized by the element of infinity: no matter which direction you run, you always end up back at your starting point. This creates a tactical twist where opponents can attack from anywhere! If they build to the right, they suddenly stand behind you—if they build away from you, they still end up at your location! Mineception is a team game because once you die, only your teammates can free you from the prison on your spawn island! To call them to you, simply sneak—a bell will ring as a signal for your fellow players.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- Vote for the map of your choice with
/vote <Map>or by clicking in the chat. - The goal of the game is to eliminate all opposing teams.
- A team is eliminated as soon as all players of that team are in prison at the same time and can therefore no longer free each other.
- If only one team remains at large, the game ends—unless someone has a “Get Out of Jail Free” chip, of course. You can find more details on that in the item explanation.
- To obtain equipment for the battles, you must buy it in the shop (the Nether Star in your inventory or
/shop). The necessary items spawn around the redstone torches. - Each team starts the game with one redstone torch in its base.
- At irregular intervals, new torches spawn in the middle of the map, which can be broken and brought back to your own base.
- For better clarity, you can configure the shop to show only items that are affordable with your current resources!

Special Items
Section titled “Special Items”- Glass Blocks: Glass blocks are the cheapest blocks in the game. They are excellent for building quickly toward a location. But beware: you should have new blocks ready for the way back—glass blocks despawn after a few seconds.
- Clay Blocks: Clay blocks are more expensive than glass, but they are solid and, most importantly: they do not despawn!
- “Home Teleport” Chip: Hold the chip to be teleported quickly and safely back to your base.
- “No Fall Damage” Chip: Keep this chip in your inventory to avoid taking fall damage—no matter from what height you jump!
- “Heaven & Hell” Chip: If you fall off the map, you will be teleported back to height 256 and fall from there—it is recommended to combine this with other chips! The chip disappears from your inventory once it has been used.
- “Keep Inventory on Death” Chip: As the name suggests, this chip ensures that all your items and other chips remain in your inventory upon death—with the exception of the consumed “Keep Inventory” chip itself.
- “Jailbreak” Chip: If you don’t want to rely on your teammates or are playing alone, this chip allows you to leave the prison on your own. The price for this chip depends on the number of players—in any case, expect to pay with diamonds!
- Lightning Wand: The lightning wand creates a narrow path of glass panes to the next targeted island. Be careful, it is narrow, has gaps, and disappears just as quickly as it appeared!
